Love my eBike. The only issue is the back brake. The brake is weak and I have to pump the brake handle. I was told I need to take it to a bike store and have the brakes bled. Our friends also bought a sport and a flow and we also have a flow and all 4 bikes have the same breaking issue. The breaks still work I just wish they were a little stronger.
I am pleased with the quality and performance of my new bike. There are several things that I think could be improved upon: The seat is very uncomfortable, it is too hard and too small. I will probable order a different seat. The display cannot be read in bright sunlight even with the brightness all the way up. I would prefer a twist grip throttle as I have trouble holdi ng a constant speed with the lever.
2020 Flow
I have the 2020 Flow. It is an attractive bike and has plenty of power for getting up hills. There’s a bit of a jump when you start peddling but I think that was resolved on the 2021 version. I put slime in the tires to try to avoid the issues with flats and so far so good. I ride on some dirt roads, mostly asphalt and the chunky tires are perfect. I have panniers and I can pick up mail, groceries etc. easily! I have a blast zooming around on my Flow and don’t usually use more than 1 or 2 PAS because I am trying to get some exercise too! Only real complaint is the seat, it’s pretty uncomfortable…I will replace it one of these days. I have had zero issues with the bike — it’s the bomb!
A Joy To Ride My Espin
Received my first ebike, an Espin Flow a month ago. No issues with assembly. Chose to replace seat and added mirrors and bell. Chose this ebike based on reviews, appearance and design. Even though it is a step through version it is challenging to get on and going (I’m 5’4” and 61 y.o..). I am up for the challenge, though, and having fun tackling hills. Thanks.
This bike is beyond awesome!! I got the green 21Flow and it rocks! The battery lasted all week before I had to charge it, and I rode every day. I also dig how it comes with a back rack. If you are going to get an e-bike, get this one. 5 different pedal assists, a throttle, just friggin awesome. Money well spent!
