Easy To Transport
Qualisports’s unique folding structure brings the Dolphin down to just 830 x 480 x 700 mm when fully collapsed. Weighing just 50lbs, this bike fits easily in most cars.
Bigger Battery
The Dolphin features a powerful 14Ah Samsung battery tucked away in its patented seat-post system. You’ll find the battery lasts longer and is more efficient — not to mention, it comes encased in a full battery-cell protection sleeve.
LCD Display
Qualisports’ Dolphin equipped the Dolphin with a multiuse LCD display and a 12 dots Cadence sensor to elevate your riding experience. The LCD panel showcases the bike’s 5 levels of PAS, its battery life, and the time, average and max speed, and distance of your trip, plus more useful elements.
Bike is a heavy-duty,long-range version of the Volador.Weight 48Ibs but has14Ah battery in a longer seat post.Perfect for me at 6’2″,230Ibs.The Volador would have been at its limit, but this one has size and power to spare.20mph on flats throttle only, easy to reach 24 with PAS. On steep 12% grade going up hill to my house,10mph with PAS,6mph with throttle only. I really like the 2.35″ tires-wide enough to float on stand at burning man, skinny enough to fold bike to fit in the back of my 1958 Cessna. This bike is rock solid stable riding hands off at 20mph.No need for suspension the wide tires absorb the cracks in the road.
Overall a pretty good bike rolls easily good batter life. I had to take the tail light off makes saddle adjustment difficult. Also you can’t put a bag under the seat to carry flat repair tools. I found the seat post to move down in the frame while riding. I was unable to tighten the clamp. I ended up putting an ugly seat clamp on it. Also the handlebar squecks while riding. Had to put a thin rag under it.A good bike for the money. Love the tire size on it should be able to ride on the beach with it.
I own two of these now. Put over 400 miles on the first one in a few winter months with no problems at all. Decided to purchase one for my wife so we can travel with them folded in the back of our small SUV. Quality folding ebike. I’ve researched a lot of them and for price and quality this is the best one out there so far!
I just put 100 miles on mine in two weeks. I use it for commuting from home to work (12 miles round trip), and I can sometimes get to work faster by bike than by car. The best part is that from stop light to stop light, I can accelerate back up to maximum speed quickly and effortlessly. One caveat is that the seat post can not be put down all of the way because it will get too close to the ground, so shorter riders like my wife may have a hard time riding with the seat in a comfortable position. Otherwise, this bike makes cycling fun again for me.
The Dolphin is a good value if your goal is portability. The more options you get the more they weigh. This is one of the lighter ones out there, but it does have fenders. Something you need if you get caught in the rain. They seem to do about 18 mph on level 3 assist with moderate peddling. You can cover 20 or 30 miles and not be totally exhausted. But you still get exercise, get outdoors and see a lot you would never see in a car. I did buy a cheap light kit and a speedometer. I would say these bikes are a good choice.
Added: We just did a 23-mile bike ride and were on our last bar, 1 of 4 by the time we got home. Also, there was some moisture on the ground.
